Your day to day

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the in-room dining department, ensuring efficient and smooth service delivery. This includes managing staff schedules, coordinating with other departments, and overseeing service quality. Train, mentor, and supervise in-room dining staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and runners. Ensure they understand service standards, maintain professionalism, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update in-room dining menus. Analyze guest preferences, market trends, and feedback to enhance menu offerings and maintain a balance between quality, variety, and profitability. Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests related to in-room dining. Maintain high service standards to exceed guest expectations and encourage repeat business. Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and manage budgets to maximize profitability. Implement strategies to minimize wastage, control expenses, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Maintain high hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards in compliance with health regulations. Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and service. Track key performance metrics such as sales, guest feedback, and expenses. Generate reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance. Coordinate with other hotel departments such as housekeeping, front office, and kitchen to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any inter-departmental issues. Oversee maintenance of equipment used for in-room dining service and ensure that facilities are in good working condition to facilitate smooth operations. Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain consistency and uphold the brand's reputation

What we need from you

- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage operations, preferably with a focus on in-room dining, within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality establishment.
