UPC Secretary - Justice

The Justice Division of the Utah Attorney General's Office has an immediate opening for a part-time secretary in the Utah Prosecution Council (UPC) section. This position provides administrative support to management and staff in the UPC. The main purpose of incumbents in this job is to coordinate specialized agency office functions or activities or manage a large and complex office. This job requires a broad knowledge of multiple agency programs and related processes,procedures,policies,and goals that enable incumbents to facilitate the work. Incumbents resolve procedural difficulties and interpret regulations and policies that are pertinent to the scope of the office.     The Justice Division houses the Utah Prosecution Council. The mission of the UPC is to provide quality training for state and local prosecutors as well as law enforcement officers through an exchange of information and experience to ensure the administration of justice reflecting the highest ethical and professional standards.
