The Teacher Apprenticeship Educational Specialist will play a pivotal role in establishing and administering a Registered Apprenticeship Program for Teachers in collaboration with universities,school districts,charter schools,and other stakeholders. The Specialist will provide training and technical assistance to apprenticeship partners,investigate current pathways to becoming a licensed teacher,establish pre-apprenticeship and youth apprenticeship programs for teachers,and contribute to teacher competency development and documentation.  This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the apprenticeship program,from application processes to program quality assurance. Time-limited (3 years) Principal Duties

• Collaborate with universities,school districts,charter schools,legislators,and other stakeholders to establish a Registered Apprenticeship Program for Teachers.
• Administer all aspects of the apprenticeship program,including applications,participant selection,program implementation,and quality assurance.
• Provide training and technical assistance to apprenticeship partners to ensure program success.
• Investigate current pathways to becoming a licensed teacher and refine them to reduce barriers and improve accessibility.
• Establish pre-apprenticeship and youth apprenticeship programs for teachers to engage aspiring educators at an early stage.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of teacher competencies,ensuring alignment with state standards and requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
