What part will you play?
Work in an interdisciplinary research group of technical experts focused on design, control & system Integration in the field of power electronics and automation
Apply cutting-edge digital technologies, in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, software development, simulation and automation to solve real-world industry problems
Develop physics-AI co-simulations and apply reinforcement learning for neural network-based optimized controls in automation and drive systems
Collaborate in small interdisciplinary project teams on exciting, ever-changing technical challenges
Beyond pure R&D work, bring your innovations in to application and drive their transfer, integration and use by our customers
What you need to make real what matters.
A Master's degree in a combined field of study of computer/natural science and engineering, e.g. data science and electrical engineering
Excellent programming skills in various languages, esp. Python, experience in professional software development and DevOps
Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, reviews, and design documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Focused on creating customer value, developing technologies with purpose and bringing own innovations into application
Strong intrinsic motivation learn, explore, and innovate with novel technologies
Self-motivation, self-discipline, and the ability to set and work consistently towards personal goals in a dynamic environment
Highly developed communication skills, fluent in German and English, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge with others
