Job Description:
Essential functions of the job include:
Provide support to AG-NGINE institutions through the institutional and student recruitment processes, including tutorials, troubleshooting, regular progress updates, and frequent communications.
Develop, draft, and schedule social media content for CALS flagship accounts. Track metrics used to assess social media impacts.
Upload and facilitate requests for collateral development to UF/IFAS Communications Services.
Manage the CALS Dean’s Office general inquiry inbox. Compile content for, develop, and distribute the CALS Weekly e-newsletter to students.
Provide support to the CALS blog site, ensuring accessibility and correct tagging structure to CALS blogs. Draft stories as needed.
Maintain the cals.ufl.edu website and assist CALS Dean’s Office staff in publishing edits.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Communications.
Expected Salary:
$20.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literacy with Microsoft Office software, and a knowledge of AP style and good design practices. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite software a plus.
